Delivery information
Shipping
Where does Isla Green ship?
Shipping availability is shown during checkout. Some live plants or products may be restricted from shipping to certain destinations.
How long does processing take?
Processing times may vary depending on product availability, order volume, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions. The estimated processing information shown on the product page or at checkout should be reviewed before ordering.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery time depends on the shipping service selected, the destination, carrier operations, and weather. Transit estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.
How are live plants packaged?
Live plants are carefully inspected and packaged to help protect the plant, foliage, and growing medium during transit. Packaging methods may vary by plant size, variety, season, and weather.
Can shipping be delayed because of weather?
Yes. We may delay shipment when extreme heat, freezing temperatures, storms, or other conditions could place live plants at unnecessary risk.
What happens if my package is delayed?
Carrier delays can occur after a package leaves our care. Review the tracking information first, then contact us if the package appears lost or has not moved for an extended period.
Living products
Live Plants
Will my plant look exactly like the product photo?
Live plants naturally vary in size, shape, color, variegation, leaf count, and growth pattern. Product photos are representative unless the listing specifically states that you are purchasing the exact plant shown.
What should I do when my plant arrives?
Open the package promptly, inspect the plant, photograph any concerns, and allow the plant time to adjust. Place it in appropriate light and avoid unnecessary repotting, fertilizing, or major changes immediately after delivery.
Is shipping stress normal?
Some temporary stress can be normal after shipping, including drooping, minor yellowing, small cosmetic marks, or the loss of an older leaf. The plant may need time to adjust to its new environment.
Are plants inspected before shipping?
Yes. Plants are inspected before packing. Because plants are living products, their appearance and condition may continue to change naturally during transit and after arrival.
Do you guarantee new growth after delivery?
We cannot guarantee future growth because plant health depends on the care, environment, water, light, humidity, temperature, and handling provided after delivery.
Order concerns
Damaged Orders
What should I do if my plant arrives damaged?
Contact us immediately at help@islagreenplants.com and include your order number, a description of the concern, and clear photographs of the plant, packaging, and shipping box.
How long do I have to report a problem?
Report visible damage as soon as the package is delivered. Claims submitted after the reporting period stated in our store policies may not qualify for review.
What photos should I provide?
Provide clear photographs of the entire plant, the affected area, the growing medium or roots when relevant, the interior packaging, the exterior of the box, and the shipping label.
Does normal shipping stress qualify for a refund?
Normal shipping stress, minor cosmetic damage, an older yellowing leaf, or temporary drooping does not automatically qualify for a refund. Each eligible claim is reviewed individually.
What happens after I submit a claim?
We will review the information and photographs provided. Depending on the circumstances and our applicable policies, a resolution may include care guidance, a partial refund, replacement, store credit, or another appropriate solution.
Store policies
Returns & Refunds
Can live plants be returned?

Are shipping charges refundable?
Original shipping charges are generally nonrefundable unless required by law or specifically approved as part of an eligible claim.
Can accessories or unused products be returned?
Eligible unused, nonliving products may qualify for return when they meet the requirements and timeframe stated in our Return & Refund Policy.
How long does a refund take?
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional business days to post the funds.

After delivery
Plant Care
Do plants include care instructions?
General care guidance may be included with the order, product listing, or follow-up information. Care requirements can vary based on your home environment.
When should I repot my new plant?
In many cases, it is better to let a newly delivered plant adjust before repotting unless the growing medium or container requires immediate attention.
Should I fertilize immediately after delivery?
Avoid fertilizing a visibly stressed plant immediately after shipping. Allow it to stabilize and resume active growth before beginning an appropriate feeding routine.
What should I do if my plant loses a leaf?
Leaf loss can occur because of shipping stress or environmental adjustment. Check the roots, moisture, light, temperature, and humidity, and monitor the plant for continued decline or new growth.
Can I contact Isla Green for plant-care assistance?
Yes. You may contact us at help@islagreenplants.com with your order number, clear photographs, and information about your plant’s environment and care routine.
Specialty plants
Tissue Culture
What is a tissue culture plant?
A tissue culture plant is a young plant produced in a sterile laboratory environment. It is commonly sold in a sealed container or bag with nutrient gel or another sterile growing medium.
Do tissue culture plants require acclimation?
Yes. Tissue culture plants must be gradually transitioned from their sterile, high-humidity environment to normal growing conditions.
Are tissue culture plants beginner-friendly?
Tissue culture plants can be more delicate than established plants and require careful sanitation, humidity management, airflow, light, and moisture control during acclimation.
Does Isla Green guarantee successful acclimation?
No. Successful acclimation depends on the customer’s methods, environment, sanitation, equipment, and ongoing care after the sealed package is opened.
